As far as rookie minicamps go, this year’s edition for the New Orleans Saints carries more intrigue than normal.

With the start of the New Orleans Saints 2024 minicamp just about a month away, we’re going to do an early projection of what the roster could potentially look like come week one. While this these three days of practices are emphasized on the Saints’ draft picks and rookie free agent signings, there will also be some veteran free agents trying out in hopes of continuing their careers.

And we should expect the Saints to sign a couple of players afterwards. They always find two or three players in these tryouts who stick around for training camp, and occasionally one of them makes the practice squad or even the 53-man roster when the season starts. It’s a tough path to take to the NFL, and they’ll all be working hard to go the distance.
