Lol. I'm not arguing against the pick or the logic. Just stating a fact that it does indeed happen. That was last season. What if the grades we have on players at our perceived need positions are that of guys not likely to make the team? We can't just draft a position for the sake of drafting a position, you know?
Well just based on names alone I'll go with Rattler, much more intimidating than Peterman"It's been fun, New Orleans."
- Nathan Peterman, probably
I like Haener but looks likes he's been served notice
The Saints desperately need depth at DT, along the OL, and at LB. Rattler may be intriguing to some but he was basically a luxury pick. The Saints need rotational depth on the DL, backups at LB, a TE, depth RB, and depth at OT (even after adding Fuaga). The last thing they needed was an arrogant undersized developmental QB. Hopefully Rattler proves me wrong but I seriously doubt it.Shouldn't reach for need at these levels. Always best to go with your rankings and I am sure Rattler, similar to McKinstry, was one of those guys that seemed to be far out-living his bubble.
6 QBs went in the 1st round. And we got the next best one. In the 5th round.

Agreed but we did do that with both our 5th and 6th last season.
He's a punk
