Sure tackler in the box, with good instincts... and coverage skills.

Not too shabby, sports fans.

He is a great tackler, and good in coverage, but lacking instincts is one of his knocks. He also does not have the speed to cover sideline to sideline. He will be a depth and special teams player. N don’t suspect he will crack a starting lineup until his instincts improve.

Because of his coverage ability, he may be able to play the hybrid position in some of Dennis Allen’s 3 safety sets, covering the zone in the middle of the field,

He was a really good player for Texas. But it's nice to play linebacker with Murphy and Sweat in front of you. He was a big time recruit IIRC.

He was Allstate defensive player out of Frisco high school just outside of Dallas. He was a big big time recruit.
