I was thinking the same thing. Inertia is usually such that a jet still generally travels in the direction it was heading until it hits the ground. Weird seeing them dropping almost straight down.That's so unusual and both video's show it happening clearly. How on earth did a pilot even flying broken wreckage manage to achieve and then maintain a zero forward air speed stall like that.
It's doing a leaf windmilling down from a tree thing.
It's possible in trying to avoid a missile, the pilot tried to increase altitude suddenly and going more vertical when hit. Idk.
