That's so unusual and both video's show it happening clearly. How on earth did a pilot even flying broken wreckage manage to achieve and then maintain a zero forward air speed stall like that.

It's doing a leaf windmilling down from a tree thing.

I was thinking the same thing. Inertia is usually such that a jet still generally travels in the direction it was heading until it hits the ground. Weird seeing them dropping almost straight down.

It's possible in trying to avoid a missile, the pilot tried to increase altitude suddenly and going more vertical when hit. Idk.

I suppose fly by wire allows that now. In the olden day if an aircraft got to flying like that the pilot was about to become dead.

Accurate. That's the whole point of meat shields. They use the cannon fodder to establish the locations of the Ukranians, soften those up with arty then send best troops to root out those positions. War is literally hell.
