Back to the topic at hand... if I were a betting man, I'd say Kool-Aid is being brought in for the nickel role so that Taylor can move back to the outside in place of Shon or Adebo in the case of injury/trade/free agency. We were awful at the nickel last season and it feels like such a waste to have Taylor there when he has so much natural ability on the boundary.
This is correct, also this could be Adebo’s last year. The pick is both a need and a value.

Need to trade Marshon now to add a couple of picks
Dislikes like the ones to this comment are fine with me … I’m not the type that needs to be agreed with … but we’re likely not going to be able to afford both Adebo and Lat past this season, so dislike all you want because I’m also thinking about the future … not to mention Lat’s injury history … I love the idea of a loaded Saints secondary … but I’m also a realist thinking not only about 2024 but beyond

I’d like to take this time to thank the Saints organization for giving me this reprieve from not having to think about the dumpster fire that is the pelicans
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawomen!

SMH that because those are the most expensive positions to pay other than QB. So you want young good cheap talent. And RB , LB and TE are not so much worthy of 1st rd picks anymore
Let me have a LB. Demario Davis gonna to playing with Walker... A WALKER

Dumb. Saints move up to draft a position they don’t really need and lose picks in the process. Par for the course with this staff.

Reach for a RT in the top half of the 1st, then trade up for a CB when you have Latt, Adebo, and Taylor in the slot.
We lost Yiadom, Latt has been the subject of many trade talks. And I believe all 3 mentioned missed significant time in parts of last year. In a pass happy league, can never have too many cover corners

Now that second round is over and the dust has settled, there were 10 DBs taken in round two. A pretty big run. The Saints got to pick the one they wanted the most outside of DeJean by trading up above the Texans. They went after the guy they wanted and that was the right decision based on how the round played out.
