Well…. I’m 100% happy that didn’t play out even though I highly doubt that was a possibility. I do think the Saints might have tried the smoke screen game to try and see if they could get a tackle to fall with all the pre draft noise about them having to draft one.

In Allen's presser, he said they were comfortable at 14 knowing the depth of the draft, how the draft was playing out, and felt really good about some of the players they coveted would be available. Doesn't sound like they were looking to trade up.
