… and for a change, they had the extra picks to pull it off without really hurting the rest of their draft.

Yep really don’t mind trading 5th and 6th round picks away if it means getting someone you really want in the early rounds.

The issue is throwing away future 1sts and 2nds which we, thankfully, haven’t done this time. If next season goes wrong we’ll be in position to take a QB.

Loomis is going to trade up again. They are picking specific “Saints” guys. Hopefully we come back in the 4th. 3rd is going to be expensive.

You know what makes an Edge rusher better? Great CBs. I like the pick.

A lot of OC's are moving toward getting the ball out of the QB's hands quick, which makes it hard for even the best rushers to sack the QB.

How does a DC counter that? Have really good coverage guys that make the QB have to hold the ball a half-second or full second longer than intended.
