Playoff Gm 3 - #1 Oklahoma City Thunder @ #8 New Orleans Pelicans at 2:30 on TNT. When the Levee Breaks; This is our last call to ball. (1 Viewer)

CJ is hard to watch.
It's hard to see vital qualities like LEADERSHIP and VETERAN PRESENCE.

Qualities like that get you in a 0-3 deficit in the playoffs while barely looking competitive.

But think of the PLAY-IN ACCOMPLISHMENTS. 3-2 record in the play-in! We're averaging more than 1 play-in game per year! How many teams can say that?

:mecry:

ps: im being an arse about this because of how deflating the performance is (by all of them) when the regular season was a lot of fun.

Seriously though. I think it will be hard to move CJ due to his contract. I think we need to give him the 6th man role, and if he's hot, he could come in and be a new-Vinnie Johnson (the microwave). But if it's not working, his minutes go elsewhere.

CJ seems like a solid dude and an asset to the whole team/culture/whatever. But expecting star results from him is probably a bit much at this point of his career.

We got Jeff Duncan switching sports to witness and critique this dumpster fire

Devin Booker got injured. It was all an illusion.
True but we also didnt have Z for it. I more meant what happened to the performances of CJ and BI from that series

I honestly think we would've stood against the suns this year, but who we really should have been facing from the get go was the clippers with no play in at all but we know how that went..sad to think about but on the plus side with how things went maybe itll cause some changes to actually happen this offseason. BI i think is still not 100% healthy but CJ just flat out is embarrassing this series.

Okay... Something is clearly up, because Jeff Duncan doesn't just randomly chime on a different sport unless he's told as such.

Dude is a mouth piece for the very top of the organization.

He's right though (can't believe I'm agreeing with Scooter). More should've been done with the dumpster fire that is the New Orleans Saints as well and look what happened - Carmichael, while bad, was scapegoated. Maybe they'll scapegoat Fred Vinson on this side.
