Yeah it's gonna be a slog.

Russia has amassed 50k troops for this movement and they, once again, resort to scorched earth tactics from aviation and ground artillery on each village/town they need to go thru.

There are defensive lines a bit further back, but Russia is expanding the front.

And they don't care if they lose 50% of men to gain 10 km into Ukraine. Just to be able to point to this is what they want.

And they will lose 25k men in this offensive.
