Heads up for southeast Louisiana, southern Mississippi, and Alabama. You're now in a Level 3 risk for severe weather tomorrow (Monday) evening. Stay alert.

I read this massive article on what is happening with these polar vortex/ jet stream oscillations. Massive block of cold air coming behind this system from Rockies thru central US.

They anticipate the bulk of storms to be more east (panhandle up thru Carolinas) but we are not fully in the clear, especially if the set up happens more west

So schools closing early. office closing early.

We certainly dont need major weather event in the 2nd week of the New Year. I hope most of the unstable energy remains just off-shore in the GOM.

Pretty amazing seeing almost the entire South under a Wind Advisory.
