Does anyone have a sense of the “work” Derek Carr puts in? (1 Viewer)

Nobody, not a single soul, thought our o line was going to be a weakness this season
About that....

Is it really though?

QB is only a big enough need to those that don't understand how much coaching/scheming/playcalling affects that. With better coaching, we could have won 10 plus games this season. Crap, we won 9 last season with 4 different quarterbacks. On the offensive side, QB was the least of our issues. The offensive line and running backs being liabilities were our biggest issues.

I saw the O-line as the biggest issue we had last season (outside of coaching) and we made no real changes there.

He’s definitely not putting in work like the elite QB’s. I’m not even sure he puts in as much work as Jameis.

I think he’s putting the work in, but I do question his football intelligence/ability to process information.

I know this test isn’t used anymore, but to me it still holds merit and manifests itself on the field for some players.

This is a really low score for a starting, conventional pocket-passing NFL QB.
