Dennis Allen's Job Should Be on the Line Today (1 Viewer)

Agree! Must win if you want to get to the playoffs.

agree. This is the whole season and a must win.

He won’t be fired or retained on Monday 11/27 based upon this game, but yes, I do think his job is on the line today. So goes today, so goes our season, so goes DA.

DA won’t be on the hot seat at least until the end of next year. Maybe not until year four if we’re judging by this teams loyalty.

Cmon, you know better. Dude isn't going anywhere. He'll be given like an injury pass or something after this season and we'll be stuck with he and Carr for another season.

It would be the most Dennis Allen thing imaginable to have our elite talent ball out, barely eek out a win here despite some coaching blunders, and for DA to flash just enough emotion to give people a glimmer of hope.

We're unfortunately "working at a company" where management will give an A for attendance rather than performance. Allen knows his job is not at risk because he's family. If we don't address it we're going to begin to draw people who prey on that mindset--which may have already happened with Carr.

Well it is pretty sickening to watch ATL's very shaky QB running up the middle of the field play after play. Like it's a surprise he'll do that?

That's poor game planning. I put that on DA.

Man, if people still have “hope” in DA….

When you fail on your first opportunity as head coach because your team lacked talent and then you get a second chance with a team that actually has some talent and you fail again after signing the guy you drafted to a franchise QB deal, maybe you aren't cut out for a head coaching job.

I'd make Allen take MARTA to the airport ... and then leave him there.

No, he'd probably still find his way home.

Can we leave him on the top of Stone Mountain?
