The New Orleans Saints traded up in the second round of the NFL Draft with the Green Bay Packers to select cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry from Alabama.
McKinstry has been rated as high as the number one cornerback in the class on some boards making him a desired pick for many teams. Head coach Dennis Allen was surprised he slipped so far and traded a fourth and fifth-round pick to jump four spots and secure the selection.
