They are paying to be the lease holder essentially so they get the invoice each year for their tickets while the other person has given them up.Anyone that pays anything significant for something they will never own is getting screwed.

this. basically paying money to jump the line. happens pretty regularly. In reality, they are paying for the right to jump the waiting list line and purchase tickets in a location they desire.
Unless the Saints just eliminate those seats like they have done twice in the last decade, then you've paid for nothing. To frame it as buying "rights" is laughable, there are no PSL's in a 40 year old stadium. They are paying to be the lease holder essentially so they get the invoice each year for their tickets while the other person has given them up.
We all in the same boat so I don't see what the issue is lolUnless the Saints just eliminate those seats like they have done twice in the last decade, then you've paid for nothing. To frame it as buying "rights" is laughable, there are no PSL's in a 40 year old stadium.
As mentioned above, no one “owns” their Saints tickets, or the “rights” to said tickets...
How much are people actually paying to “jump the line”? I realize number of tickets and location would matter. I’m just curious, a rough estimate would suffice.
Because we didnt pay thousands for the "rights" to the seats like this guy is asking someone else to do.We all in the same boat so I don't see what the issue is lol

Thanks. Not life changing money. Nothing close to what PSL’s can go for. As everyone has said you aren’t buying a permanent right so there’s some risk, but the cost is minimal. At that price, I agree with the notion that it’s a convenience charge for being able to jump the line, and if someone is willing to pay it, understanding the risk, no big deal.I saw a posting on the Facebook exchange asking for $1000 per seat. Section 145. Seller said price per seat of season ticket is $2200.
