Posted this in the contract thread, but ESPN was tearing him to pieces earlier. Even the d-bag Kendrick Perkins, made good points in how his weight issues shortened his career and that Zion is on the same track. It's a shame he's listening to the wrong people (or no one at all).

Shaq is right about Zion's attitude. Too laid back and doesn't always play with effort when it comes to rebounding and defense. Chuck is wrong that Zion is out of shape. He's not. The reason Zion is a "yo yo" is simply because his offensive skill package is limited. Some teams can defend him and others can't.

They’re both right IMO. Zion can be great, but he will have to change his attitude and lose weight. He needs to develop a killer instinct, get in better shape and develop his game beyond iso left. But it takes hard work and determination, and he’s yet to prove he has either.
