I do not have an opinion on the McKinsley selection. I do have an opinion on how much weight we should give the public statements of any college head coach evaluating his former players at draft time. I do want to hear what the coach has to say. But I expect a totally different level of candor from what, say, Nick Saban might have told Bill Belichick in a private conversation about an LSU player in a prior draft.
