You can clearly see from the post that the IDF is shooting something toward the kids flying kites. It very well could be / likely is a warning shot w smoke shells. It doesn't have to be a 'horror' or not to pass the legitimacy test. It's not a strictly binary "either they were killing people/hurting them or they weren't".
I mean, honestly. Put yourself in the shoes of being a kid in this experience. Not trying to be a jerk.
You have doubled down that this is a 'staged photo opp' by 'Hamas' without any evidence -- when there's a long history of kids flying kites here dating back at least a decade or longer.
